Reading a Supplement Claim, With the Glyco Reset Label Line
Support lines, disease claims and the box that travels with them, in plain words.

“Supports Healthy Glucose Utilization”, printed on the Glyco Reset label, is a structure/function statement: it describes support for normal function and must travel with the FDA statement that it has not been evaluated by the agency. A supplement may not claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a disease, so any page or ad saying the drops treat diabetes goes beyond what the label can say.
Two kinds of claim, with Glyco Reset examples
| Kind | Example | Allowed on a supplement? |
|---|---|---|
| Structure/function | Supports Healthy Glucose Utilization | Yes, with the FDA statement |
| Disease claim | Treats diabetes, or replaces insulin | No |
| Marketing line | Boost your energy and improve your well-being | Read it as the seller’s words, not the label’s |
The FDA statement on the Glyco Reset label
“These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.” The Glyco Reset label prints it in a box, and this site prints it in the footer of every page.
The FDA explains how supplements are regulated, and why they are not approved before sale, in its questions and answers on dietary supplements.
Reading Glyco Reset ads and sales pages
Sales pages for supplements often go further than the label: talk of melting away blood sugar spikes or of results in days. Those lines are not on the Glyco Reset label, and this site does not repeat them.
The FTC expects health claims in advertising to rest on competent and reliable scientific evidence (FTC health products guidance). When an ad promises more than the label, trust the label.
A thirty-second check for any Glyco Reset claim
Is it on the label?
If not, it is marketing.
Does it name a disease?
Then it is not a claim a supplement can make.
Does it promise a date?
Labels do not, and this site does not.
